Part 1 — The Vision

For quite some time, I’ve been sensing that Encouraging Bookstore was ready for something much bigger than simply a website redesign.
What began as an update to the theme quickly became a complete rethinking of our purpose.
Rather than functioning like a traditional bookstore, the vision is for Encouraging Bookstore to become a ministry resource center that gently guides each person to the right resources at the right time. Instead of focusing on selling books, we want to begin to focus on giving hope, finding true love and a future for our children. By making our resources easier to discover, and helping women continue their journey through our Book Courses, Fellowships, and the ministries the Lord has established over the years, we move from a Christian Business to what I'd always hoped—a true ministry.
There is still much work ahead, but seeing the pieces come together has been incredibly encouraging and inspiring to me—and hopefully to you too. If so, comment below and let us know why.

Recorded Vision

The Encouraging Bookstore renovation is much more than a website redesign. It is a complete rethinking of how our ministry presents and distributes its resources around the world.
A Unified Design
The first renovation is already underway: changing the website theme so it matches the rest of our ministry websites. This provides a cleaner, more consistent appearance with improved menus, typography, page layouts, and comments.
The homepage will feature every English title with language captions, allowing visitors to easily choose their preferred language. Every book will open to a single Launch Page, which becomes the central hub for that title.

Using Restore Your Marriage as the template, each Launch Page will contain translatable text and display every language available for that book. From there, visitors simply select their language before choosing their preferred format.

Rather than maintaining dozens of duplicate pages, there will be ONE shared Launch Page for each title, followed by ONE page for each title in the language that lists ALL the available formats:
- eBook
- Audiobook
- Paperback
This greatly reduces unnecessary pages while making the site easier to navigate, translate, and maintain.
We also need to combine ALL the Reviews that can be used by ALL the languages. Unfortunately, there were no volunteers interested when I posted this on the EB To Do List
What I took away from this is that HE and I will do this easily and quickly together. I believe it's difficult to see a task and do it. But when HE and I do things together, it's a step-by-step journey that He takes you through—never knowing what we're doing—instead, watching HIM do it.
From Selling Books to Giving Resources
Encouraging Bookstore is not in the business of selling books. Our book sales over an entire year amount to very, very little. We designed it that was from the moment I took over RMI, and our books were destroyed.
Our ministry exists to give life-changing resources and simply direct everyone to the best place to obtain them.
Whenever possible, visitors (if it is not a free resource) will still be able to purchase books through established outlets such as Amazon and inAudio rather than directly from our website. However, when it's offered to members or partners, we can encourage them to move forward in their journeys. Book 1 is open to guests; Book 2 and 3, you'll see, are to encourage them to join RF. Book 4 is reserved and suitable for partners.

*If you'd like to help, each chapter needs to open EDIT and scroll down to see WHO can see it. For BOOK 2-3, everything is checked, but the guest. I'll work through them as He leads. HE LED ME. It was relaxing, and He showed me additional cleaning up of some chapters needed.
By allowing Amazon and inAudio to handle worldwide distribution, especially because we then are free to focus on what our ministry does best:
- Writing resources.
- Marketing those resources. We absolutely MUST create short videos for each title to get the exposure to what is available to women who haven't yet found their way to us.
- Especially encouraging everyone to leave Reviews—sharing their testimonies with others. Since God says, "By the word of their testimony," they can "overcome the wicked one."
- So we can also focus on guiding more women deeper into finding the abundant life.
This allows us to reach nations without becoming a retailer ourselves.
Book Courses Become the Primary Path
Rather than overwhelming guests with numerous purchase options, the primary way we introduce our resources will be through Book Courses.
The courses naturally guide guests through the materials in the order that best helps them begin their journey.
They also immediately increase availability across languages.
While building the Launch Pages, it became obvious how few books currently exist in languages other than English. The Book Courses help bridge that gap while translations continue to grow.
Instead of presenting hundreds of choices, guests will first discover the foundational resources through:

- HopeAtLast
- LoveAtLast
- HomeGrown Children
- Encouraging Women
As people continue growing, they are naturally invited to become Members and eventually Partners.
