When my husband and I first separated I made every mistake pointing things out in the book. I listened to family, friends, pastors all who led me down the wrong path. I continued to make the mistakes outlined in the book. I was looking for answers from everyone but God. I started letting go to let God but things were not happening quick enough but I did see things changing and I would take it back and try to rush things and it all came to a halt. I am now submitting 100% to God's instruction. I find myself asking a question and searching the Bible for the answer instead of calling a friend, pastor or relative. I am spending more time praying and reading the word even if sometimes I don't understand. Reading this book has just reconfirmed to me what God has been trying to tell me all along. God led me to the FB page where I could speak without anyone thinking I am crazy, and from that page someone was kind enough to reach out and send me this book which in turn confirmed to me that I am not crazy and that God has called me to hope for my marriage regardless of how bad things may seem. This book was truly written by the inspiration of Jesus Christ, our Lord, to help women come to truly know their Saviour and Lord.
I started out by wanting to do anything to restore my marriage, but the more times I read it, I was looking to become closer to Jesus and find comfort in His promises, faithfulness and steadfast love.
The book helped me understand for the first time in my Christian life that Jesus wants more for us than "salvation at the day of His reckoning", but rather to find salvation or victories amongst the "land of the living". I accepted Christ as long as I can remember and have never doubted. I just never realized that relates to anything in my life, not just my physical death. I believe all the principles taught in the book will work. It is not an easy way to do especially if you are contentious, but I know with the Lord on our side, He will help you. There are wonderful lessons, that truly need to be applied in order to work, and the testimonies of other women who have had their marriage restored are amazing words of encouragement.
I just want to thank all the women who shared their testimonies and especially to Erin, for taking the time in putting this ministry together to help all of us. I never knew of any option when marriages are hit with such deviation as adultery, and that the only solution according to our society is divorce.
