This book is one of my favorites, the first time I read it I was very exciting to realize that the Lord was always by my side trying to win my heart. It teaches us to give the Lord all our desires, the desires we have to believe that if the loved one returns (in this case the earthly husband by our side) we will be happy forever but this is not the case, our happiness depends only on becoming the Lord's Bride and spending time alone with Him.
We will not die in the midst of the fire of the furnace, but we will emerge renewed, free, happy and also accompanied by Someone who surpasses all, He is all we need. If we suffer, we are afraid, we tremble, it is because we need more of Him, we need to be alone with Him contemplating His love, because true Love casts out all fear.
Everything is vile Only He is precious so we must focus our energy on seeking Him and not running after someone who only wants to run away from us. His Word says that if we try to cling to the life that He wants us to leave behind we will lose it but if we give everything into His hands, if we surrender to His will, if we joyfully accept His will then we will find the life that He wants to give us, a life that cannot be compared in anything to the one we have lived— a life of abundance at His side overflowing with all that is good, a life that can be the light that illuminates the path of others so that they come to know whom they need so much.
