Like with every crisis, God causes all things to work together for good, as long as we love Him and are called according to His purpose.
I believe one of His purposes, which we’ve learned through the various trials we’ve faced, is to lead us down a different path at times.
When we merged all of our languages into one website for each brand, after finding GPTranslate, I believed it was as good as ChatGPT, translating everything perfectly with maybe only one or two words needing to be updated.
We’ve since discovered that this is not the case.
After trying different plugins, it’s understandable why this happens, but it’s far from what we had anticipated.
However, I believe we’re now at the point where we can use this for good.
With your Fellowships, if a book is not yet available in your language, it will be very easy to take the English version, bring it into ChatGPT, and do exactly what we’ve begun doing—creating a well-translated chapter.
Rather than placing it on a webpage, it can be added to a Word document and uploaded to Google Docs, where a new chapter can be added each week, or you can work ahead if you prefer.
The next step is incredibly easy.
Once it’s in the correct Encouraging Bookstore Google Drive folder, EB FileBird Documents, simply choose Print and then save it as a PDF.
Download the PDF and upload it to EDD (Easy Digital Downloads). You can refer to the page He led me to create and follow. Codes
After it has been uploaded as a PDF media file, it can immediately be offered for sale in the Encouraging Bookstore in your language.
It can continue to be updated, refined, and revised.
Then, at some point, it can be brought into D2D draft2digital.com for wider digital distribution and offered on a multitude of platforms using one of our many unused ISBN numbers. Much of this information I'm collecting and adding to NRP.org
This also includes being offered on Amazon. As long as it is not enrolled exclusively with Amazon, this process with D2D works there as well.
This is simply an overview of the path we will be perfecting together.
As each of us works with our Husband, also work with an ePartner—preferably someone in another language. You may even want two ePartners: one in your own language and another in a different language. This way, you can learn from one another and share what you discover.
As we discover new things, we can share them with each other so we continue moving together as one.
I’ve already done this with a couple of books (in the EB menu it's under HomeGrownMinistries.com), and it was so easy by simply following the steps on the Codes page.
Let’s all be mindful to do this in a very orderly fashion, avoiding different forks in the road.
And if this seems impossible, it is.
Working with your Husband to discover innovative ideas, collaborating with your ePartners, and yet all moving together as one is impossible.
But as we know, ask Macy, nothing is impossible with God.
And apart from Him, we can do nothing.
So let’s continue doing what He has shown us.
I will be doing more of these in English, and I trust that you will talk with your Husband about which book you want to begin publishing in your language as an In-House Narrow Road Publishing book and begin offering it for sale.
Which brings me to what we’ll be discussing next week, and what we are potentially testing this month: giving each of you the royalties for your books sold through the Encouraging Bookstore using Stripe.
